Art in Action at Hagemann Ranch: Hagemann Ranch is managed by the Livermore Heritage Guild. They invite artists to demonstrate their art at the Ranch Open Houses which take place on the last Sunday of every month from March through November.

Hagemann Ranch is located at 455 Olivina Ave., Livermore. There are lots of subjects to inspire you. Several artists took part last year. A sign up poster is behind the counter at the LAA Gallery, or you can sign up by emailing Barbara Soules at tbsoules@yahoo.com

Alameda County Fair has a vibrant Adult Fine Art Competition showing more than 550 pieces of art yearly and awarding Cash prizes in Fine Art- 2D, Sculpture &  Photography categories.  There is also a Poetry Division and Plein Air onsite competition.

The Fine Art is displayed in the tree covered Plaza Del Arte in the heart of the Fairgrounds. Works of art and poetry are offered for sale if the artist chooses with a very generous percentage to the artists.

Entries are now being accepted online:  www.alamedacountyfair.com and click on the Left Side of the screen to ENTER then click on the FINE ART button. Rules and entry information all online. You can enter multiple pieces and in different categories. When you are ready to enter have your digital image of your art and the art titles in a listed together for easy entry.
