Beginning Linocut & Hand Coloring Workshop:2-days, June 3 & 10, 10am-4pm. $145
Instructor: Karen Barry instructor. Learn about designing, transferring your design, and carving techniques. We will use hand printing methods so that you can continue to print without a press at home with minimal investment in equipment. We will print with one color (black) on paper suitable for adding hand coloring, if desired. AIR, (Artists in Reflection) will be hosting a community forum on the subject of Unity. A three member panel of people from different professions will lead our discussion. The forum is open to all but may serve to help artists create works on the theme of unity for a separate event later this summer. The Young Artists’ Studio: Artist Peggy Frank offers small group instruction in art to students ages 7 through high school and also is offering an adult class.
