Intermediate Drawing
-
What:
We had such a good time with Drawing
Fundamentals that we've decided to go ahead
and launch Intermediate Drawing. This class
will focus on the development of the basic
skills you learned in Drawing Fundamentals
with a focus on longer, more developed
drawings and the introduction of color. This
class is perfect if you have some drawing
knowledge, but we can also update some basic
skills along the way if you've become a little
rusty!!
The class will last over a period of six weeks and be broken down into three modules, alternating twice during the course of the class. Two sessions will focus on developing an extended still life, starting with the application of a charcoal ground and then pulling out light and putting in darker shades. Check out thhis website or a few examples of the way we will be working: http://bradney.com/charcoal2.html
We are holding an Open Life Drawing session up in the Gallery this coming Monday, March 25th in conjunction with our regular Intermediate Drawing Class. If you are not in the class but would still like to attend and draw you are welcome. All you are going to need is some newsprint for the short poses, a drawing board and some better paper and pencils (or whatever your chosen medium is) for the loger pose. I am planning to close the session with an hour and a half long pose so this is a great opportunity to spend some significant time drawing the model in one pose. The class is free to those who have signed up or the Intermediate Drawing Class. Those of you who attend and are not in that class will be asked to pay $20.00 to cover the cst of the model. - Where: Autobody Fine Art
- Fee: $200 for six weeks
