• LAA Spring Art Show

  • What: LAA Spring Art Show featuring the works of LAA artists. At the Spring Art Show this year, all LAA entrants who DEMONSTRATE their art will be able to SELL art that fits on their single demonstration table DURING the time of the demonstration! Sales will be processed through the salesroom. Runners will be available to take sales to the salesroom for demonstrators, so that they will not have to leave their table. We need volunteers for both the demonstrator (Please leave your megaphone at home! :-) ) and runner positions!

  • When: Show: March 31 - April 1 10 am-5 pm

    Receiving: March 27th 10 am-2 pm: Receiving artwork at The Barn

    Reception: March 31, 7 - 9 pm

    Pick up: April 1st 5 - 6 pm

• LAA 40th Annual Art in the Vineyard

  • What: This show is for LAA members. Acceptable media: 2 Dimensional Fine Art, Sculpture, Photography and Ceramics.
  • Where: Wente Vineyards Estate Winery, 5565 Tesla Rd. Livermore
  • When: Show: Sunday May 27, 2012

• 14th Annual Art in the Park

  • What: Applications are now being accepted for outdoor booth space in the 14th annual Art in the Park Fine Arts Festival in San Ramon.Painting, Photography, Ceramics, Sculpture & Graphics. Limited openings for Fine Jewelry. Work must be original and created by the exhibiting artist. Artist’s reproductions of their own paintings and note cards will be accepted as long as the majority of the work for sale is original. Absolutely no imports or commercially produced items permitted. No crafts.

• Artists in the Garden

  • What: A wonderful opportunity to showcase and sell your art among the flowers and live music.

    This is a juried show, so if you haven’t previously exhibited at Regans, send 3 jpgs.

  • When: June 23-24, 11:30 am to 4:00 pm
  • Fee: Fee $30 for FAA members, $50 non-members plus 10% of sales.

This jersey is awarded daily to the cyclist who best exemplifies the character of those engaged in the fight against cancer - courage, sacrifice, inspiration, determination, and perseverance.

  • What: an ongoing event in Downtown Pleasanton. Mark your calendars for the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. As an artist, this is a chance to get your work up in numerous solo shows around town. Visit www.MerchantArts.com where you can read up on becoming an Artist Member, and receive immediate online exposure through this highly visible and custom gallery. By joining the online show for $35, you receive up to 90 days representation for a chance at selection by the many participating merchants of 3rd Thursdays.

  • What: The Lodi Arts Commission is pleased to announce that the monthly First Friday Art Hop art shows have added three new venues. New locations for this popular event will include Fields Family Wines, Borelli Jackson Jewelry and Watch Repair and Sea Salt Cottage. They join current venues: the Thomas Theater Gallery at Hutchins Street Square, the Lodi Community Art Center, the Lodi Public Library, The Dancing Fox Winery & Bakery, Scooters, Taste of Heaven and McKinleys Frame Shop

    Artists of all types and abilities are being sought and are encouraged to participate.

• Volunteer at Veterans CLC (Nursing Home)

  • What: Looking for artist voluneers to help out on July 24 from 12:30 to 4 pm to help veterans create art, or do other tasks. Additionally, artists are needed different times throughout the year to help teach art at the Veterans home.

• The Village Theatre Art Gallery Docent

  • What: Become a Docent! Share your passion for art with your community! The Village Theatre Art Gallery is seeking volunteers who will lead, teach, and inspire our community to appreciate fine art. Becoming a docent offers you the opportunity to learn about different works of art, artists, historical periods, and cultures. Docents provide an essential link between the exhibit and the visitor and are the heart of the museum experience. No experience necessary. Training will be provided, and flexible shifts are available.
