My life is based on a true story. I was born to create stuff and I have the negative bank account to prove it!

The artist...that would be me...has a degree in both fine art from New York and graphic design at The Academy Of Art College in San Francisco.

Came to The Bay Area for graduate school and never left. After 26 years in Fremont, we moved to The Livermore Valley in 2009.

I have been painting, creating jewelry or ceramics since I graduating in 1977. Retired from a graphic art career in 1989. Worked in abstract paint and jewelry until 2008.

Currently, I study Alla Prima at The California Academy of Painters under Brigitte Curt and Jim Smyth.

Alla prima comes from Italian, literally meaning "at once". The French term is premier coup.
