Heidi’s love of art and drawing date back to her early childhood years when she started drawing pictures of teachers and classmates in the 1st grade. While drawn to the arts, she initially pursued a business career and entered the world of banking. However, during this time she remained passionate about art and continued to paint in her spare time. She also enjoyed visiting museums and galleries and supplemented her creative endeavors with art classes and workshops when time would permit.

Heidi is currently working towards a graduate degree at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Her studies at the academy have focused on traditional paintings skills studying from the old Masters. Her academic training at the Academy has increased her appreciation of figurative art as well as portraiture. She has lived in the bay area most of her life and currently resides in Pleasanton with her husband, Bob, and their Bichon Frise, Bogie.
