I have been a resident of Livermore for about 27 years. I have 3 grown children, one in So. Calif. and 2 in Livermore and husband who are very supportive of what I do. My work experience and school has not been in the art field, with the exception of an art major waaay back in the day in high school. Although my work choice was very satisfing , throughout my life my secret dream was to be able to paint. I have always been drawn to paintings in books, art galleries, store windows, wherever, always thinking to myself, I wish I could do this. Well, the dream I have kept only to myself has come true. My art experience has and is coming from working with some wonderful artists here locally. Things have sort of come full circle for me too because my career was in the medical field and now being a volunteer art instructor at the Livermore Veterans Hospital allows me to do both things that I absolutely love to do, work with patients, only in a different way now, and being able to paint.
